GrowSmart Maine seeks dynamic Director of Development
GrowSmart Maine is an ambitious statewide non-profit organization with a bold mission: to help Maine grow its economy without spoiling the special character of this place. Since the release of our landmark 2006 report, “Charting Maine’s Future,” in partnership with the Brookings Institution, we have doubled our staff size and greatly expanded our board. We are working to create an organization that is unique in the state -- a creative think tank which also proposes an achievable action plan, or an ‘action tank.’
To implement the action plans, GrowSmart Maine engages in statewide advocacy, has a strong communications and public education program, provides technical assistance and builds strong partnerships and coalitions with Maine people, businesses and organizations. We are engaging Maine people in a dialogue that will help us find new and creative ways to work together toward our common goals.
We are currently seeking a full-time Director of Development. The ideal candidate is an experienced, strategic, creative and energetic individual who will be able to complement a dynamic leadership team in an evolving and growing organization.
